President Donald J. Trump: Eats fried chicken
You have so much in common!
On his podcast, Benny Johnson, specifically references the below picture of President Donald J. Trump eating Kentucky Fried Chicken on his private plane. The diatribe was that this president is relatable, while other elitist pricks in the DC crowd are not.
He is not wrong.
Right on the money.
President Donald J. Trump may live in the summer White House at Mara Lago, he may fly on his private plane and be a billionaire, yet he’s relatable.
Watch the clip of President Trump buying milkshakes for customers in a Chik Fil A in Atlanta, Georgia. Watch as he’s cheered by the common folk, they love him. Because he makes time for the public, his policies are America first, to protect the people.
The lesson is two-fold.
The skill of being relatable is gold.
Being a good human being trumps all.
In laymen’s terms.
Don’t be a d!ck.
Was that clear enough for you.
Follow the example of President Donald J. Trump, 45th president of the greatest country on earth and also a nice guy.
In this world, there are elitist pricks who think they’re better than you.
They are not.
I don’t care who you are, what money you have, if you coast on your looks and if you’re smooth. If your character is sh!t and you treat your fellow humans like dirt beneath your feet, you’re a d!ck.
In my line of work, Imposter Syndrome is real for many people, I’m a Therapist employed at a private practice in the Chicago area and I own my Life Coach. Doesn’t matter if it’s my clients or my friends, everyone feels this occassionally. For myself, I’m human too and I’m not immune to intimidation either. But for me, if you’re the prick who thinks you can look down your nose at others because you have money, the trappings of status and good looks, you do not impress me. If you treat others poorly, your character is shallow. Not impressed.
When you’re shallow, you act poorly towards others from a false sense of entitlement. You think you’re better than others, you act like a d!ck to people. Elitist pricks are rarely kept in check because people fawn over them in public while despising them in private. Lack of awareness coupled with false entitlement results in an extremely shallow person, the kind no one likes.
President Donald J. Trump is relatable. With his private plane, his mansion at Mara Lago, his billionaire status. That man is relatable. He talks to the people, he’ll hug a veteran and talk shop with regular folks too.
He’s a different type of politician because he was in the business world first. He’s a different type of business man too. For many people, earning a buck or two, may turn that person into a prick. The difference with President Trump is that he remains down to earth. Yes, he’s relatable, even though he’s a billionaire. That man does not view himself as above you, he views others as having value too.
President Trump acts like a decent human being. Follow his lead.
The skill of being relatable is gold.
Being a good human being trumps all.
Work on this, act on this, be this. Relatable. Show you care.
This will help you in your personal and professional life. No one likes an elitist prick, so don’t be a d!ck. Live your life, showing kindness to others.
That’s living. Relate.
