Party at the Drake. This is the 2nd year I’ve attended, the highlight is always the Tree People. I’m sure they have a swanky title, but I don’t know what it is, I just think they’re really fun.
Hats off to the owners of the Drake Hotel, they do a beautiful job, it’s a lovely summer party.
Three mini Balsamic bruschettas and two cherry cokes in, I felt happy and blessed, for so many things in my life, like the chance to go to an amazing summer party.
I was there to network, but it was also nice after a work day, to hear live music and mingle on the lawn.
Networking is the name of the game. I am solely responsible to advocate for my work. I am very good, competent but that’s not enough, people need to know my name.
So I network, whenever and wherever I can.
It was nice to do so, at beautiful venue like the Drake Hotel, on a hot summer evening with a drink in my hand.
Hats off to all the entrepreneurs and business owners who hustle and grind. We live in the greatest country on earth, where we get to promote ourselves and our businesses. God bless America.
And . . . hello Tree People, nice to meet you. Network, it is. Let’s roll.

Rachel so nice to hear the word networking. Business and normal life have lost the human touch. You get it. You are a solid person all the way through. I’m not telling you anything you don’t know. Just keep being you.
