I am honest with you, and I will tell you that status, looks and money will not make you happy. These are surface things, and you must have real things in your life that will actually make you happy.
But you need to be aware of the surface things, they do affect you, so they also matter. You would be remiss if you did not acknowledge your weaknesses in order to combat them.
I list the top 3 surface things that’re the most recognizable. They may also be the ones that hit home the most for you. Don’t be naive and think you’re above surface things, you are not. You are vulnerable, as is everyone in these areas.
Instead, be smart and cognizant of exactly how they affect you.
Do you kow which of the 3 affect you the most and why: Status, Looks and Money.
You should. You should have your head wrapped around both your weaknesses and your strengths. These things easily fall into the weakness category because they’re surface which means they’re what the degenerate world tells you will make you happy. This is a misnomer of course, these things will not make you happy.
Ask yourself honestly, which of these 3 things affect you at a visceral and gut level. That will clue you in to which one affects you the most and may be your weakness. Once you can name it, then you can work with it, you can combat its power over you!
I don’t want you to be naive, you cannot go blithely through life without first calculating the consequences of things that affect you the most. You need to be strong, mentally capable and absolutely competent. This means you need to have a firm grasp on the things that affect you, especially your weaknesses. Nothing catches our eye like something shiny like Status, Looks or Money.
For example, are you a man and a smoking hot woman will make you lose your train of thought? Perhaps your weakness is looks.
For example, are you a woman who lusts after material things, your friend’s big house or wanting that promotion for a big salary increase. Perhaps your weakness is money.
For example, are you a man or a woman who prides yourself on your fancy title or reputation in the community. Perhaps your weakness is status.
Be brutal, be honest with yourself. Figure it out, your weakness.
Only then can you guard against being overly influenced or have the ability to combat your weaknesses when they become an unhealthy obsession.
Look, there’s nothing wrong with being ambitious or being attracted to someone or working hard to have recognition. But tipped to far, these things can control you and can turn into your weakness. Status. Looks. Money.
I know my weakness. Do you know yours? Figure it out.

Very true Rachel, but having money gives you freedom to enjoy the the three gut happiness. Love to spend time with family but working to survive takes 80% of time away. Love your posts!
